This lithograph corresponds to a series of 15 lithographs, each with its own theme, developed by Manessier in collaboration with the renowned Poligrafa workshop in Barcelona. This corresponds to theme XII - La Garde du tombeau or Le Tombeau gardé, from which 99 copies were produced on Guarro paper, completed on 17/11/1978. A remarkable set for its intensity and diversity. Typical of Manessier, with powerful, sometimes explosive compositions. The energy of the composition, the density of the colors are balanced in dynamic harmony. A painting that is both gestural and skilfully composed.
