Grupa Junij (1969-1985)
Grupa Junij (the June Group) was founded in 1969 in Ljubljana (Slovenia) by a group of artists from the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts. The Group’s primary actor-initiator was painter Stane Jagodič, joined by two other painters, Enver Kaljanac and Harald Draušbaher, and sculptor Viktor Gojkovič. During its existence it organised and invited several world-renowned multimedia artists to its exhibitions, including Christo and Jeanne Claude, Helena Almeida, Jochen Gerz, among many others.
